AMA CME Reimbursement Program
- ****You may now claim an "overhead allowance" of $50 per approved CPD credit.
If you attend a Mainpro accredited program, the registration fees (if any) and also $50 per Mainpro credit obtained can be claimed for reimbursement with copies of the Mainpro credit certificate.
If you attend any Department of Family Medicine rounds or other CME/CPD programs don't
forget to claim this credit.
A simple way to claim CME - easy as one, two, three! In addition to reimbursement for registration fees and other costs associated with attending
CME, Physicians can now be reimbursed for Continuous Professional Development credits
earned either through the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) MAINPRO program.
Given that participation in the MAINPRO program is now a mandatory requirement, this is a
simple way to ensure your CME allotments are fully utilized.
1. To claim a reimbursement for credits, simply track your MainPro credits online.
2. From the CFPC credit tracking site Print your credit earnings report and attach it to
your completed AMA CME claim form.
3. Submit your claim form and report to the AMA. |
